External connectors for larger drivers 3 - Opto - isolated spindle PWM. 4 - HMI 5 - I/O on diferent modules and Ethernet 10MBPS communication. Patches will be written to GRBLHAL for Ethernet I/Os (Interrupted).

This project is a Pull tester for material testing or structural testing with stress (force) data logging, I don't have plans for strain logging but that might be down the road.

Building the OB Lead 1515 was straight forward. The on-line OpenBuilds assembly videos were extremely clear and easy to follow. Initial build of this machine is with OpenBuilds BlackBox which simplified getting the electronics to work the first time. OpenBuilds staff are friendly and helpful.

A CNC machine with an expansive 30x30" work area, supporing a router, laser, simple plotting and work monitoring camera. Control includes a tethered control box, game controller style jog control, and relay controlled AC outlets for all appliances. Accessories include a 3D printed dust shoe, a complete spoilboard and hold down system, an XYZ touch probe and multiple vacuum retention boards to support full profile routing.

I am currently 15 years old, from Germany and trying to build a low budged CNC router. I only designed this CNC based on other CNC routers that I have seen and what I am able of. It consists mostly of 2.3cm plywood to keep costs down. The size of the work area is approx. 40 x 80 cm. PeeNaPle_V1.4b is a BoB controller board for 3D Printers, CnC and cartesian machine, using the latest Teensy_4.1

I built this cnc using 2 z axis actuators thinking it would minimize deflection and it seems to be very sturdy. I used 2 1500mm c channels for my x axis, 1 1500mm c channel for my y axis, nema 23 stepper motors, dm556 drivers, 2 24v power supplies, smc5-5-n-n controller, 9mm wide belts, and the Hitachi m12vc router. So far it's working very well with a few hiccups. Programming the controller was a learning experience but I'm very happy with it.

I am satisfied with my build and next one will be even better.

First time CNC builder puts together a Lead1010 machine.

I made a 5x10 foot cnc out of the parts I bought on this site. It's been upgraded and tinkered with ever since. The end goal is to learn enough to learn to build a large 10x10 foot 3d printer.

Currently I have Velleman/3Drag K8200 modified and CNC machine self built and wanted to use both to make new 3D printer. After looking at different designs I liked Voron a lot and have decided to go that way. Currently I have ordered majority of parts and build shall start soon. Using the WorkBee to protect doctors against Corona virus.

The Microwave Filter Tuner (MFT) combined with the University of Regina’s tuning algorithm automatically tunes microwave filters by using a custom CNC machine with a computer vision system for identifying, mapping, and tuning each filter element, providing improved consistency, flexibility, and accuracy compared to traditional methods. The MFT is low cost and is capable of tuning multiple filter configurations with minimal preparation.

This is a rework of a previous build I did on here, a mostly printed cartesian CNC. Initially intended to just be an update to that, but so many things changed including the linear motion and every single part has been modified significantly that I felt as though it deserved a whole new build.
