    Ha! It was really just a prop for the photo :D - An early version of a Christmas gift I made for a friend (before I built the box).

    Here's a brief demo of the laser shield in action (raster etching denim). I suggest turning down your sound - the shop vac is a bit loud. (I actually turn it off for a few moments around 1:45 so you can see the smoke.) Near the end, I briefly point the camera through the side slots so you can see the difference the shielding makes.

    For those interested, here are my settings:
    2.3W 445nm Eleksmaker laser
    25% power
    700mm/min
