1250x1000 Build

A new design of my based on a couple different machines I have seen both on openbuilds and youtube. In the end will have a and X/Y workspace of 1250mm x 1000mm and a Z axis range of about 200mm.

    Got the bed frame made and the knife bed installed today. Still waiting on interior panels to be cut so I can start mounting electronics.

    Here is some more of my progress from this weekend.
    - Interior panels on
    - Wiring run to the steppers and end stops
    - Drivers, controller and power supply added

    I should have some motion test this week I hope.

    Loving the build! I'm in the process of sourcing parts for my build but I'm having trouble finding a bed large enough (1500x1500), where did you order yours from?

    Check out Will Feng Store on AliExpress. He can custom size one for you. Very reasonable pricing too. Tell him Jason Banman sent you

    Got the water system running yesterday, hope to get the air assist running today and get a test burn in. Wait on exterior panels to be cut, and still have to build the lid.

    Thanks for the info. I does not look like they offer them directly. Can I assume you had to contact them? I see that the linear actuator kits from Feng and Cloudray are virtually identical. Looks like Will Feng is cheaper though. I wonder who is actually making them. My setup is stuck on hold until China gets moving again.

    Yes I have had him make that bed custom, he is making me a custom laser tube as well. He custom sized my X/Y stage as well. He is responsive on chat, and has fairly good english
