    Hey everybody

I have been using my mini mill for a couple of months now, I am trying to cut out a simple box as practice for a Christmas present I am making.. when I cut the box out, it does not fit correctly together. After measuring the box that was cut out.. my Machine seems to be about 2 MM off..

does anyone have any advice as to configure the machine to produce more accurate cuts?
    Thanks y’all. Happy holidays.

You need to adjust your motors steps per mm. If you're using OpenBuilds Control, then use the calibration wizards in the Wizards and Tools menu. If not, watch this video.

Also, if you need a perfect fit, measure the endmills you are using on the cutting surface. Most are actually slightly smaller than what the manufacturer claims which will lead to parts not fitting together. I use a cheapish digital caliper.
