@Mark Carew Hello Mark, So we decided to go with the bigger size V Wheels than the mini wheels. However I have one question about the wheels. Are these V Wheels corrosion resistant and is it okay for to be used outdoor?

    Hello Gary!

I bought the MK3/4 control board from OpenBuilds. I was emailed a key. I downloaded the Planet-Cnc software and pasted in the Key. I hit save and get the error "Unable to parse(1)."

    Any resolution to this?

I use the soft "PROCESSING" to control my table.
I have an "openbuilds 1050 XYZ".
I would like a list of possible commands between PROCESSING and the XPRO card.
For example "$ H" allows me to do a homing etc ....
    Thanks for your help.

David , I'm new here and heard you were the man to ask.

I was given a Phlatprinter III,
Do you know if there is still a Free download for Sketchup?
Also I will need a plugin for G-code.
    Hope you can help.
    Thank you

    Hello Rick
Can you help me with choosing the cnc machine for advertising making acrylic sign upp to 20mm thick. which would match my business best: workbee or Shapeoko?
    1. Rick 2.0
      Rick 2.0
For acrylic where speed is more critical than strength it's pretty much a toss up. The Workbee will give you about 45% more working area for roughly the same price though.

It should be noted that both of these machines are hobby grade systems. If you intend to rely on them for a business you'll probably want to go with a much more substantial system.

Hi I have built a custom OX , it’s 2 feet x 2 feet and I’m having a terrible time with belt jump. I have seen where you have used lead screws to eliminate all the belts. Do you sell the plates and such to do this upgrade, or are there files to cut them out myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Mark, I am currently assembling Delrin Mini V Wheel Kit on a M5 screw and I have 8x5x1 precision shims on both sides of the wheel. When i tighten the assembly and roll the wheels, it makes clicking noise, which makes me think that the shims rubbing against the outer rim of the wheel bearing. Is there a way to fix this problem? Perhaps smaller OD shims? I have a shim in between the bearings

      Mark Carew
Hello @jw42lee this clicking noise I believe is actually a bad bearing. I have had this happen in the past and that usually the case and happens from time to time in manufacturing. Please reach out the OpenBuilds Part Store Team with your order # and they will get you taken care right away. [email protected]

Hallo! Danke Alex

Hi Mark, This is Ernie. I'm having a problem with my Phlatprinter 3. When I send a job, it starts ripping the foam in a diagonal all the way across the FFF. Tried a test simple 2 inch square drawing and does the same. I can jog the machine via the controller software in every direction. I need your help in trouble shooting this issue. Thanks [email protected]

Great Job!!! I'm getting tired of my Rostock Max V2 and it quirks. Looking to make an all metal frame and a larger sized printer with no skimps. I am not the greatest at CAD. Can you please resize your plates for a 500mm bed. That would be awesome. Thank you in advance if you can.
