      So I was looking in incorporating ball screws on my machine.Either way with the stock bearing blocks funky size and trying to mount to the c beam ext I would have to create custom plates anyways. I bought a 250mm 1204 ball screw off Ebay to tinker with. So I sketch'd up a some plates to accommodate a better set of bearings then the stock BF n BK bearing blocks have. My goal was to create a carrier that would be low profile hold new bearings with linear rails and hold stepper motor like Openbuilds way. I cut up some HDPE plastic I had bought for another project, its a static prototype just for build purposes. I want to utilize 3/8" thick Alum flat bar and 20x20 Alum Ext. I have on there T slot but the V slot will work too. Using the T/V Slot ext to hold the linear rails. I went with 20x20 ext cause I had to raise the linear rail guides off the base plate get close to the ball screw block and machining out a set rails for rails was looking to be painful. What I found out cause I jumped a little before I looked was that a 250mm ball screw only has a effected travel of 186mm along the screw. I should have looked at the dimensions first. So I might have to adjust the linear rails a little with a metal cut off wheel. The Uprights holding the bearing are secured thru the back of the base plate.Plus bolt wholes that will secure the bearing plate to the 20x20 ext. There will be small spacer between the top bearing and plate to maintain squareness.I believe also I might have to place a spacer on ball screw block or the linear bearings or i decided to mill reliefs on the Z axis plate spindle plate can't remember what I decided. I will post files after I have a finalize the part. Pics are a little dark cause of the plastic.

      So I liked the way the end plates worked in plastic so I cut the pieces out of 3/8ths alum Flat bar. Waiting on more aluminum to cut the base. Places 5.5mm spacer between upper plates bolts go thru to alu ext and will also be bolted down to base plate. Also making Motor stand off need to 3d print this.

      Bearing pockets are facing in held tight flush against the screw.
