    Greetings everyone!

Newbie here, I am having an issue first time running my blackbox:

    1. Zaxis will not move

    2. Zaxis "!" light is on.

Current issues I have is that the Zaxis does not move.

The following are troublshooting methods I've attempted:

Swapped cables for the Zaxis, zero movement

Swapped Xaxis connection (with both previous cables) on Blackbox to the Zaxis motor and it runs perfectly (no motor issue can be conluded)

Wiring from the terminal to the motor are properly configured.

This leads me to believe that the Zaxis driver might be shot.

Any suggestions is welcomed. Thank you in advanced!

I've ran the current and voltage on the terminal for the Z axis connection and it reads 0 all the way. No current and voltage is passing through when idle and constantly pressing the Z up and down buttons on the CONTROL software.

You can't really get an accurtate picture with a multimeter, but also:
While that's the case, the driver output is disabled to protect itself.

    Resolve the
    - overcurrent
    - overtemp
    - under voltage
    - short circuit

Condition first, then powercycle to clear the fault

I got the same problem, out of the blue, after testing the Z axis switch sensor. Now the motor won't move.
    - Checked the cabling and it was fine
    - over temp is unlikely, it's been stuck for a while
    - over and under current, i tried to alter the adjustment wheel in both direction
    - short circuit i really don't see where it could be!

Only Z motor or all motors?

    Grbl Settings backup for review?

Endstops stuck (check troubleshooting tab in CONTROL)

it was only the Z one! a bit of a random error. Kind of solved itself after the third reboot, but the motor makes a little wining noise in idle
    thanks!!
