I opened the machine and homed it it homes in the left front. it made it about half way and the right side of the carriage stopped the left side kept moving, i stopped the operation and moved it by turning the lead screw. i went back to moving it with the controller and the motor try's to turn but i get a nasty growl sound. I measured the Y carriage from the front both are measuring the same,,

Thank you for the prompt answer, I have been using the machine for some time , fairly no issues , I looked at the right side of the Y axis and noticed the motor on that side had become unplugged, I will go out and get some small zip ties and fix it ,, all good now
