Upgraded to the x32. Plugged everything in. Could not connect even after driver update then power loss and never turned on again. Lights come on when USB is plugged in.
Missing the PSU pictures. Noting 2-wire limits so pictures of limit switch side wiring too please. Noting a Laser driver above the BlackBox so pictures of its wiring to BlackBox too please
That indicates a serious short circuit. Awaiting pictures, but that symptom already tells us there is some short circuits in your setup somewhere. Pictures were requested to help us review your wiring for you, but if its not freely forthcoming / only partially provided, you might already know where the short is/was?
Sorry there was a problem uploading. Went from a working black box. Inspected wires and plugged new on in so not sure what happened.
Need to see both ends of things like limits wiring etc. Something caused a short, would need to find what it is.
That wasn't hooked up to the x32 since it looked like a different plug configuration so I'd deal with that later.
OK, not seeing anything wired incorrectly. Laser: BlackBox 4X used a 4-pin connector, you have a 2-pin on there now. Sure it was never connected? You can proceed to contact the Store via Support > New Ticket - please include a link to this thread
So just curious, why are you replacing the BlackBox 4X with an X32? Upgrade? Or did the 4X become damaged as well?
Decided to upgrade after a few years. A few reasons, upgrade ,eventually get the interface and use the old one for a dedicated laser
OK thanks, just making sure it wasn't damage (otherwise we'd have had to dig deeper on this one) Saw the store handled your ticket, so looking forward to the new one. Please test it on USB only before wiring up anything else.
I see a PSU plugged in too. Make sure you have V11.3 drivers Fix Silicon Labs Outdated Drivers on Windows 10/11 What version of CONTROL are you on?
