The parts store says that 4 of the holes on the C-beam are tapped for easier assembly. Does anyone know how deep the taps go? I would like to know so that I can order the correct screws for the job.

The holes are threaded all the way through and the plates are 5mm thick.
There isn't a lot of space between the plate and the extrusion, so the screws can't stick more than 1mm or so past the plate.

    @ Jason,

The tapped holes are 10mm (3/8") deep,

    @ Steve,

Jason was talking about the ends of the C-Beam, not the gantry plates for the C-Beam ;).
