Do I go OX or a C-bean design? I want to cut aluminum and the largest sheet size I can get. Any suggestions?

I like the C-Beam XXLarge "Tank"

I despise the idea of using belts for linear motion. I equally despise the idea of a moving table. The middle ground (perfect ground for me) was Kyo's Sphinx.

One thing to keep in mind, the larger you go, the more expensive it gets. And it gets expensive because you have to make it four times as strong for only doubling the size. Otherwise you will end up with a giant limp biscuit.

    Versatility: range of workable materials
    Affordability: self explanatory
    Size: working area

    Pick two.

Affordable + Size = foam and lighter materials
    Versatile + Affordability = small
    Versatile + Size = $$$$$$
