I'm working on a design and I need more detailed dimensions of all the locations of the holes on this build plate so I can accurately design other parts to attach to it. I have tried to measure it in my software but I'm getting measurements other then what the dimension sheet is saying. Could I get someone please to put up another sheet with more detailed dimensions...I need these ASAP PLEASE!!!! Thanks
I'm in the same issue, the dimension of the universal plate looks fine but in the moment to put all data on the software seems like the v-wheels (in my case) are more closer each other, but i think that the original openbuilds published dimensions are still correct
I use the Mark Beers original solidwork parts files, hosted here in the forums. it has .iges (igs) and .step files too.
only 6 year later I have a similar question. I'm using the .step files to model a custom gantry plate in Fusion 360. When using a 60mm rail and solid V-wheels the hole distance between straight and eccentric centres is meant to be 79.7mm, according to every drawing on the internet as well as the .step models. But but when I model this in fusion there seems no way the wheels will fit even with the eccentric rotated to its widest. according to my model the wheels will be snug at their eccentric midpoint/s with a centre distance of 80.7 centre distance at 80.7mm with eccentric at its midpoint/s = snug at 79.7mm as per drawing and step models = doesn't fit 79.7mm even at its widest, still doesn't fit 79.7 at the tightest is, real bad what am I missing ?
