Wondering if I can find some guidance here on upgrading the Rails on my Gmax 1.5+ 3D printer. I basically want to upgrade the rails/guides on my current 3D printer to what the new version 2 has. I do know they come standard with HIWIN rails. My current printer is the GMax 1.5+ … And I want to upgrade to the Rail system used on the new Gmax 2 Parts I want to upgrade are: 1. Bed rails/Y Axis wheels to Rails 2. XY Axis wheels to Rails 3. Lead screw to something that uses thew newer spring backlash-nut system. I mean this should be simple enough as just swapping the parts. No?
