The Frame is all complete, ordering last of parts on Thursday when I get paid. Once I complete the Z axis this weekend I will start posting pictures
...how big is it going to be and what kind of material will you be cutting?
Any update on how the build went? How does this design perform? Very interested in building my own and this design fits the bill perfectly! Would love some pictures if you have them. Keep up the great work!
is there any engines that run slow ? like 400rpm and have better torq for steel milling ?
Just as an update, I don't know the answers to all of your questions, this is my very first build.but everything is finished, I will upload soon, I just only get to work on my project on the weekends, but more will be coming soon
Ok guys, the build is up and running. I am currently at work, when I have time this evening I will upload a few pictures and the 4 things that I have made with the CNC machine.
Next weekend I am going to rebuild the Z axis because I found a new way to give it more cleared, and I will get a detailed par list together as well, looks like I can mill 30in by 30 in on this guy
any update on how the machine is holding up? I was looking at alternatives to the sphinx plates and was thinking along same lines as you did.
