I am building a Ox with 1617 Bocsh router as the spindle. I'm just finishing up the controller box and I want to be able to turn the router on/off from an output on the breakout PCB. My question is can I trigger a 3 to 24V DC input SSR with just the output from the breakout PCB? Or will I need to buy/build a relay PCB with it's own power supply for this. Thanks for your replies.

What kind of PCB? I am using TinyG and I am doing exactly that. For now I did it for the laser I mounted on the OX and it seems to work fine so I am optimistic on using it for the spindle too.

Probotix PBX-RF it's an isolated breakout board.
