here is my take to make it fit Misumi 20x40 extrusion as Vslot is not everywhere available and the cuts are not as precise as from Misumi.
Problem I had is the chamfer, looks like left and right is inconsistent but after printing with 0.35 layer it does not matter, it is tight fit, cannot be inserted from the extrusion side, hast to be slided from the top.

Did you do that in Fusion 360?

What you can do is to import the source file in Fusion 360 format : src/prusa_i3_bear_full_upgrade_mk3.f3z . Then you will have access to all parts, sketches and parameters. This will be easier to use. Are you knew to Fusion 360?

Be careful with parts printed vertically, like rod holders. Double check the rail profile dimensions after printing.

BTW, the difference of your chamfers will not be visible when printing (but it will avoid elephant foot issue, which is why I add these chamfers in some particular places).

Ok perfect. Let me know if you are blocked.

Tip : In this part, I am doing to a "sharp angle" on the corner of the extrusion. This will avoid plastic taking a shortcut while printing, which could then crack when you tight it. You can do the same technique on the inside angles of your "ergot".

ahh, missed the dev branch, thx
much better now, don't have to reinvent the wheel :)
but still have to edit most of the parts.
Looks like you invested lot of time in it, respect!

    yes way too much :D

It is not build only for me but to be reproduced by lots of makers. And it is a base for other idea I have!

For bolting printed parts to extrusion yes. For mounting Prusa components to the printed parts you will need few other screws. Check out the Full Upgrade MK3 BOM here : prusa_i3_bear_upgrade/bom.md at dev · gregsaun/prusa_i3_bear_upgrade · GitHub

I may go for the V-Slot insted of Misumi extrusion, have to reconsider.

The only think I cant get ist the power panic modul for MK3, BUT alle info I need is on github GitHub - libxmike/MK3_Power_Panic
I may order 10-20 PCB to make it, I dont feel like ordering the MK3 power suply from Prusa for 80 EUR just for the power panic modul which will cost maybe max. 5EUR

Wise decision :D . I do not know where do you leave but if you would like to have precise cut checkout RepRap 3D Printer Parts Supplier - V-Slot CNC - Ooznest . Here is a list of shop selling V-Slot : prusa_i3_bear_upgrade/openbuilds_stores_list.md at dev · gregsaun/prusa_i3_bear_upgrade · GitHub

The most important cut is the 290mm v-slot for the top. For other length, 0.2mm margin is more than enough.

Do you already own a 24V power supply?

I'm in germany, in Belgium they cut with accuracy in the range of 0.5-0.6mm
The pre-cut V-Slot in UK shop for full MK3 upgrade runs for about 80 EUR incl shipping, Misumi 35 EUR, so I dont know.

I do have new 24V PSU from MeanWell which was ment for Ultimaker Alu build but had small PSU and did not used heat bead

Yes shipping and taxes are very high, same problem for my country. You do not have high shipping cost/taxes if you purchase from Belgium?

I cannot purchase from Misumi because I need to be a company...

Maybe you can ask if they can do more accurate cut (and even propose a bit of extra money). I suspect they gives this margin "just in case" but it is quite easy to go under 0.5mm...

the MK3 full upgrade vertical V-Slot profile, is it 356mm or 354mm?
according to BOM it is 356mm but in F360 it has 354mm

Are you sure you have the latest version of source file? The last version is 359mm. But you were right, BOM was wrong with 356 instead of 359mm (I have fixed it).

Just checked the suppliers for tolerances:
    - Belgium: 0.5-0.6 mm
    - Italy: 0.5 mm
    - Portugal: unknown
    - UK: 0.2 mm
    - Poland: do they even sell pre-cut 2040? only found the kit.
    - Canada: 1.0 mm :jawdrop:

I guess I will order in UK than. :)

Looks like I have to create my store :D

For Poland, they only sell a pre-cut kit for half upgrade (for now, maybe they will sell full upgrade after the official release...)

Sure, no problem, nothing to adapt! You will just have 1.2mm on top of the z_tops. The 290mm v-slot will be higher by 1mm as well, which is not a problem.

I dropped the idea ordering V-Slot extrusion from china, set will cost $52.05, parts $14.50 and shipping $37.55, who know what the cut quality be. Will order in UK, the extra 20 EUR is OK the get is in better quality

I will order bei Aliexpress just the bolts, nuts and corner brackets as they are much cheaper as in UK or EU
