Nearly done with my 2.5x1.5 meter router.

Inspired by the Ox. Y axis substituted with 2 pieces of 30x60mm bosch profile and open builds rollers

X axis is 60x60 bosch profile, with lasered 3mmx70mm steel plate on outboard side with 25mm steel v groove pulleys, Inboard is a t5 tooth lasered steel rack that matches the profile of a t5 aluminum pulley.

So far it is working, initial movements were rough until the shaft on the opposite side of the motor had a plate and pulley added in like the Ooznest.

It took about 30 min of running test code with a good amount of light oil on the gears until it was broke in.

Ill be posting pics as soon as it is done and the rack and pinion files

Ran into a few issues with the gantry at this size. The aluminum twists with the weight of the 6 kilo 1.5kw spindle. The rollers also start coming out of the grooves.

Rebuilding the center gantry with steel rails, v groove rollers, and rack and pinion drive.
