Hi all, I decided to build the OX the Openbuilds OX CNC machine. My question is : cutting and milling of aluminum is it possible with this model ? (5 or 6mm thick). I'm planing to use one Smoothieboard controller I have in stock. What do you think about it ? Thank you
Hi , i think you will find some of your answers by searching in this forum. I don't have any experience myself as i'm still building my machine, but i also plan to do somme aluminum cutting. I also guess looking at the Openbuilds c-beam machine might be an option for you. Personally i choose the ooznezt 500x750mm ox kit.
Hello, Thank you for your information. Effectively, I ordered yesterday the C-Beam Machine and I think it's a good start point for me What do you use as CAM software ? I'm working only on Macintosh with MACOS.
