Hey guys, I finally got my cnc set up with opto-coupler switches for the limit switches, and was wondering if there is still a need to use shielded cable for the limit switches and the steppers?

limit switches are the biggest cause of problems with DIY machines because of electrical noise.
thus, always use shielded cables for limit switches. saves you having to wire it up twice.
