I am designing a custom "long" gantry plate for an upcoming build and have a question about lead screw nut blocks. I want to use two nut blocks on this plate, and am curious about the necessity of using the anti-backlash versus the standard nut block.

My thinking is that I will use one anti-backlash and one standard, with the holes slotted for one of them to allow adjustment so the threads will mesh properly. Is my thinking correct, or should I use two anti-backlash blocks? (Or since I will use two, is even one anti-backlash block necessary?)

    Thanks,
    Scotty

Standard nuts both sides should be fine.
