I was thinking of ways to build a 1500mm Machine using Tr8*4 Acme screws and not get whip
I have seen this type of config on other machinery, thought why not apply it to openbuilds

Please let me know what you think of the idea

I already have one Non Captive Nema 23 for Tr8*4

I would probably use a plate either side of the C Beam, to create a sandwich and hang the spindle from the opposing plate.
I did give the use of Non-Captive motors on my prototype machine, a lot of thought, but decided the new design was enough to be getting on with. :)
I'll be keen to watch your build happening if you go ahead with these motors.

looks like a Great idea - it's just like the spinning ball-nut concept - but simpler! Can you get 1500mm screws with decent torque steppers.
