I'm looking to get a WorkBee and set it up for CNC and laser cutting/etching. Here are my plans so far.

    CAD: Blender, Fusion 360
    CAM: BlenderCam, Fusion 360
    Sender: UGS 2.0 Platform
Frame: WorkBee 500x750 with lead screw
    Driver: xPro V3 with PSU
Spindle: Four Bearing 65mm 1.5KW ER11 Water-cooled Spindle Motor & VFD Drive Inverter
Laser: Focusable 450nm laser with 15w drive, laser and driver both heat sinked and fanned

    My plan is mostly to:
    cut out plates (wood, acrylic)
    carve reliefs (wood, acrylic, aluminum)
    cut out patterns (cloth, PCBs)

Before I start buying things, does this look like a reasonable plan for a DIY home fabrication shop? Upgrades would have to wait until next summer, but this should keep me busy until then, hopefully with more success than hair-pulling failure. I realize I have lots of scrap to make before I have a recipe book of typical settings.
