Looking to increase resolution/torque on Nema 23 for CNC rack Options. 1) CNCRouterparts Belt drive 3:1 2) 5:1 Planetary gearbox (china) 3) 5:1 worm gearbox which would has the least backlash? the CNCrouterparts solution seems large and most difficult to use. IMO
Hi Adam, Too be honest we are working on racks as well and are still in experimental stages so we have not decided the best route as of yet. As we do develop the ideas we can reach out to you to let you know our findings, as of course, they will be shared. Thank you Adam
Come on Mark!! Hurry up on that R & P. I didn't know you were into that! You really know how to make a guy change his mind for his future machine!! Are giving any thought to Linear Rail, round or square? I could really do with some 12/15/or 18mm stuff.
