Setting up my first ARCO laser etcher and could use some wiring insights.

If you look at the wiring that came with the NEMA-17:
    NEMA 17 Stepper Motor

vs the SparkConcepts v3 board I have:
    CNC xPRO Controller V3

There seems to be a mismatch in the pairing. Am I missing something or is the cable for a default arduino setup or something? It seems I need to cut the cable and swap some wires. See attached picture.

Seems to make it work I need to swap (at the SparkConcepts end ) Blue --> Green, Red --> Blue & Red --> Green?

Have I got this wrong? Someone stop me before I cut some wires :)

You don't need to cut any wires.

Since the Y axis stepper motors are facing each other one has to run CW and the other has to run CCW.

All you should need to do is rotate one of the connectors 180 degree's before you plug it in. If your gantry moves in the wrong direction when you jog then rotate both connectors but keep them on the same connectors.
