I'll skip to the short version for time's sake. I donate homemade wood urns to needy families. I make them using a table saw. The are just plain boxes sized accordingly for the person or pet's remains. These take me a lot of time to make because each is a different size and all are hand measured and cut. They take a long time to build and finish.

I don't ask for money ever except for the shipping. If they can't pay that, I even pay shipping too. I'm disabled and work part time due to multiple back surgeries. I love woodworking and it helps keep my blood pressure down by letting me build urns for other people. There's no feeling like helping someone that has lost a loved one and the whole world seems to be dumping on them when they are most vulnerable.

No one should ever feel guilty or sad they couldn't afford a final resting place for a loved one, including pets.

I'm looking for a router CNC to be donated so I can make these things faster and with precision cutting and, some kind of carved detail. I just can't stand up for hours at a time cutting wood anymore. The table top CNC router would help me help these families by doing most of the cutting at one time from a single piece of wood. No more wasted material either.

If you have a router machine you can donate, please contact me. I'll pay shipping. I just can't afford a machine due to my limited income. Whatever you can do, I sure would appreciate it. Thanks.
    Sincerely, Mike

Thanks for the welcome. Just simple wood boxes. I've never took pictures. It would be like I'm trying to show off or the like. These are gifts to people at a time when their lives are upside down. Taking pictures just seems like poor taste, and they're plain red oak plywood boxes with pocket screws. They're not much to look at. That's actually why I want a CNC router. The router machine is capable of relief carvings so I can personalize the urns. Thanks for your suggestion. I'll take pictures on my next one. Good idea. I'm building my website and need some pictures for it too. FYI, I try to help, not be a hero or publicity hound. I don't like any attention. We couldnt afford my grandpa's coffin. The mortuary put him in a plastic type box. The box came apart when they tried to lay him to rest. Mom never forgave herself for being too poor to afford his casket. This is my way of making up for it so no one else ever goes through that again.
