So by being able to change the ratio for more torque which may help with a heavier router then does the software adjust the difference or do you have to have all your steppers at the same ratios?
Set your firmware steps per mm accordingly. The listed BOM is 1:1 ratio though so no change needed, only if you change ratio

Hi, will this solution works on a LEAD machine ? I do not have enough clearance to mount the stepper motor on the top of the Z axis.
I was wondering if this plate allows the upside/down stepper motor to slide behind the back of the Z plate.
It looks like it should work! Give it a try and confirm back if you got it working, or shout if you have any issues.

Do you know the dimension between the motor and lead screw axis of this plate ? I can make some measurements just to know if in principle it works or a longer plate is needed.

OK, I took some measurement and the mini mill plate won't work. To offset install the Z motor on a LEAD (or workbee) a much longer plate is needed with longer belt and a different mount solution for X drag chain.
Ideally a replacement custom end plate is needed instead of an additional plate on top of the cbeam end plate.
