For anyone interested, Lidls in UK, are selling chopping boards, made from what I believe is Garolite, measuring 370mm x 280mm x 8mm, at £2.99 each. I bought 2 and plan to use them as Router Table inserts. They are a little thicker than a standard Insert, but I can always run a rebate around the edge. Compared to what you can get on Ebay, I think I can save a good few pounds.

Thinking about it, if I could get the dimensions of some recognised Router Tables, and a regular supply of Garolite, there could be a CNC market for that sort of thing. Even in aluminium. Would get a good price, I should think, for one of them. :)

    Something to think about!

Nice find, ebayers had looted my local by the time we did our weekly. My better half had never seen me so eager to trolley push... Have you cut it yet? Still garolitish?

No not yet. I'll let you know when I get round to it. She in doors, who must be obeyed, has me doing DIY for the foreseeable future, well at least for this year, I'm afraid. :banghead:

No. She won't lower herself to shop at Lidls, it's where I poke around. :)
It has to be Sainburys or Waitrose for her. :p
