BE sure that the main plate have 155mm wide on your CAM software before cutting, the svg files trend to miss scale
Great Build! What thickness plate did you use?
1/4 in thick 6.35mm
You’re killing it with these builds! Hopefully in the spring I’ll be able to give building the 50w laser a try and build this to go along with it!!
thanks, for he 50w think about it, if you really want to build or have one because is out know a 60w china for 1500.
Yours clearly works, and is built to be reliable. Those Chinese ones all over eBay I don’t trust as much. I’m mainly wanting a laser for engraving glasses, mugs, and acrylic so the 50w is probably overkill but oh well.
im just telling about it but an own build is an own build any help just let me know
Here's mine. I changed it a little bit. Made it so the Nema 17 Mounts to the same plate as the rollers. I should have this finished up this week.
nice idea! Anyway to convert that to support a nema 23?
Look great, is there a kit of parts available anywhere. I'm in UK
What are the lengths of the 20x20 rails
Yeah to me that makes more sense to have 1 plate. I wonder what the logic is to have it seperated like that?
I would guess to put the flexible coupling, which I think is not really necessary in this build.
