Hello all, hoping you can help me out again as you have before. I'm still a huge noob when it comes to software and programing. I am trying to put on a 2.3w laser module onto my 1000x1000 cnc router with arduino uno and cnc shield, running grbl 1.1, UGS platform/laserGRBL, and designing with VCarve desktop using their "new" laser module. The laser is supposed to be compatible with PWM and TTL. I have wired it up to my 12v power for the arduino, and have the PWM control lead running off the z+ stop pin on the shield (due to the pin 11 switch in laser mode on the Uno boards) The problem I'm having is that the burn that I'm getting is wildly inconsistent. I've done a simple square program and in running it the laser will sometimes deep engrave one or two of the sides, some sides will be lightly etched, or maybe missing all together. I have done a few things that have made it more consistent like switching $30 to 255 from 1000, focus adjustments and a few other things. But the result still varies and doesn't give near the result that it should be. I have included as much information as I can with the screenshots, but please let me know if there's anything else I can provide.
