Large can motor or trim router for CNC Spindle?

    My CNC router has large can motor (size 775) running on 24VDC taken from a too-small CNC mill. Is this motor powerful enough or should I use a trim router (DeWalt 611)? I'm using my CNC router to cut out parts from 1/4" plywood.
