    Hi all

I was busy with a project earlier today, and all of a sudden my machine just stopped.
It's been working fine for the last year without any hassles whatsoever and then all of a sudden it gave me the following error message. Please see image attached.

Nothing moves at all no forwards, not backwards nothing it's as if it just decided to give up. Black box is connected to the software. I'm obviously using a Mac, but more puzzled by the fact that it's been working fine without any hassles whatsoever and it just stopped anyone have any solutions for me.

Using the controller to move the motors forwards and backwards doesn't work either by controller I mean my desktop keys it's super strange.

    Wesley

Its still alarmed. Clear the alarm. Then check your Grbl Settings.

Accidental click of Reset buttons on Grbl Settings tab? Or a wiring short that caused an eeprom corruption?

Wiring short from motors or Stoppers ? could this be a cause as its the wires that where moving at the time ?

That's up to an up close inspection. Its remote (short usually release the magic smoke, a brownout can sometimes corrupt eeprom but it tends to be more severe) but best check all terminals nothing pulled out and shorting, nothing chaffed through, etc

Thanks Peter. Its the only thing that makes sense right now. Will have to go through each step to make sure everything is working.

    No

But try to be more specific. Tell us your issues. Easier than guessing off vague questions :)
