I too am building a FrankenRouter out of parts I knew would come in handy 20 years ago, including old drawer glides and the frame of my daughter's childhood IKEA bunk bed that has some seriously good birch plywood. I wish I had a nickle for every bone headed mistake I have made, again and again and again. For the electronics though I am relying on the quality and expertise and advice of OpenBuilds. Not going to even try although I was an electronics tech way back in my military days.
