    Hi all,

I'm currently working on a project to build a haptic feedback linear belt actuator system. The system will allow for a user to slide a block along a linear rail, and a motor will produce variable resistive forces through the belt. The idea is that we can simulate different environments by providing forces to simulate different coefficients of friction, springs, virtual walls, etc. The project will have to withstand ~150N of force side to side but this number can be changed depending on what's available. Do you think this system can be built with parts through open builds? Do you know where I can purchase solid parts to build a linear belt actuator? Do you have any suggestions on building it?
