Looking to spec out a solid/reliable Electronics Kit to power and control Cbeam Machine Kits that have up to 4 Steppers

    Currently these are the parts

    Fusion 360 for CAD/CAM
PC with Mach 3 for Control

    Ethernet Smoothstepper
Mean Well RD-35A 5V/4A 12v/1A Dual Switching Power Supply

    Leadshine MX4660
    Mean Well SE-600-48 48V 12.5A Power Supply

    Openbuilds High Torque Nema 23 - 3A (24-48V) x 4

I want it to be Uber simple to wire up, thats why im avoiding multiple drivers

    DQ542MA Stepper Motor Driver

Would appreciate thoughts on this setup, its similar to a package CNCRouterParts offers and I realize that there are less expensive options.

I use this setup on a custom machine. To be honest the dq542ma would suffice and still provide some headroom. The mx4660 is a great package, but I wouldn't recommend it for its simplicity. It can be confusing to wire up. It is a nice piece of gear after its installed though.
