"ERROR!: No supported firmware detected

    Got the dreaded "ERROR!: No supported firmware detected today, I've been through all of the support docs & links.

    Machine was working fine when I shutdown last night, always disconnect on GUI before unplugging and powering off!

    Step 1 - tried new usb lead 2m - exactly the same on both
    Step 2 - tried a different computer - exactly the same on both
    Step 3 - disconnected every connection except the power
    Step 4 - re-downloaded 1.0.304 and installed on both devices and returned to step 2 - exactly the same on both
    Step 5 - Tried downloading VCP USB driver as recommended on openbuilds support pages, installed as recommended - exactly the same on both computers

    Absolutely nothing has worked, however, BB does power up, BB usb indicator does flash once when connecting USB port with either usb leads.

    MAC sees the FTDI USB and port is open as per attached

    Any ideas?

    If you've worked through docs:blackbox:faq-usb-connection-failed [OpenBuilds Documentation] meticolously - note the last step for further instructions :)

    Its usually related to a wiring issue somewhere, and can lead to permanent damage, so do check for short circuits to prevent a replacement going down the same fate.
