Started on a ox build but just haven't got enough done to post a build. I know eccentrics are only $3 but I couldn't pass up making these. Hex is for 1/2" wrench .187 deep with .060 washer to equal .250 space(probably need to mill a wrench to .18 thickness to adjust them)Hole is offset to print in openbuilds store.
Thanks Tweakie! I have a conversational program called simple cnc i bought awile ago and love it..ill be ordering parts soon to get going on my build
hey SJD, I also made my own eccentrics, using 10mm square steel bar. set it up in the lathes 4 jaw chuck to turn the spigot, then made a 0.8mm spacer to offset the holes and did that as a second op. now need to make a lot more (-:
Nice David..I think we seen a challenge and couldnt let it pass by..i went with aluminum because my hobby mill works with ease..steel would be better choice but works it too hard.
not a challenge , necessity since I am in Africa and importing from the openbuilds store is stupid expensive. I'll be making V wheels too.
