DQ542MA , Hot stepper when idle

    I am using DQ542MA to drive High Torque stepper Nema 23
    I noticed that the stepper was hot after sitting idle for 1hr.
    I have switch 4 enabled, which should reduce idle current by 70%
    Current Peak is set to 2.84 Amps

    Should i reduce Peak amps?

    Hot is when you cant keep your hand on them, so the question is how hot? :)
