I'm building a 3D positioning system for acoustic measurements based on a Sphinx 55, which works fine under OpenBuilds Control SW. But I need to control it with MatLab, a programming language from MathWorks, as I need to control the interaction between the Sphinx and acoustic data capture in real-time. (Move, acquire data, repeat). So I need to connect to the BlackBox via USB and emulate a limited version of the OpenBuilds control software in MatLab. Does anyone know how to establish the communication between MatLab and the BlackBox driver?

Thanks Peter, that did it. I haven't programmed anything yet, but my MatLab sees the Arduino, so the communication is there. I didn't really understand what GRBL was about, and was looking for MatLab and BlackBox. Thanks.
