Hi; greenhorn alert. I’m in the process of building my Sphynx 1050, uild went great. Now trying to bring it up. Installed grbl-panel, got most of the settings working. I started slow and have since sped it up. Just installed home switches and they appear to work. The machine moves z up and spaces 10 mm down and stops, then it heads to the back right hand corner, where it stops and comes 10 mm out from back and side. Now heres where its confusing, Z displays 0.000 on top and -10.000 on bottom, X displays 0.000 and -10.000, Y displays 0.000 and -315.003.
    Now I have set a tool change position about mid X and front Y with Z up in G28, the display shows Z 0.000, -10.000 X -430.000, -440.000 Y 290.000, -25.003.
The machine sounds good moves where I want it but the Y axis seems to be backwards, I use plus X and minus Y to get to the back right hand corner, but it seems to know how to get thereitself. Can somebody explain what I’m doing wrong, I think I should get X= -10.00, Y= -10.00, Z = -10 after a home command. Any help would be appreciated. Thx Steve
