Can you tell me what the computer hardware requirements are for the Sketchup Software Installation? I have a HP, Windows, Vista computer and want to make sure that my computer will work approparately sith the Sketchup Software. In addition, if there is another software package available, please let me know. Thanks
Unfortunately the new version of Sketchup doesn't work on Vista. http://help.sketchup.com/en/article/36208 The 2014 version is still available for download here but you will likely run into the same problem I am running into in that users on the forum are beginning to post 2015 files and there is no way to open them. As for other software, someone else will have to chime in about that. Edit: Posted link only provides access to Pro versions which are only good for 8 hours of free use. See below for access to previous Make versions.
Roy, I've come across another potential source. Try http://designerhacks.com/get-the-google-sketchup-free-download/ I downloaded Make 2014 and it appears identical to the original copy I downloaded 7 months ago including all the digital certifications. I hope this one solves the problem.
