Theoretically you should be able to pull off something similar using

    V-Slot® 20x20 Linear Rail (1500mm)
    Mini V Gantry Plate® x3
    Xtreme Mini V Wheel™ Kit or Delrin Mini V Wheel™ Kit x12
    Eccentric Spacer (1/4" or 6mm)x6
Aluminum Spacers (same length as eccentrics)x6
    Low Profile Screws M5 (2@10mm, 4@25mm)x3
    Tee Nuts (25 Pack)

I would however be concerned with the short wheel base of the mini-V gantry plates lacking sufficient strength to prevent deflection. Instead I would probably obtain a length of 1/4 x 2" aluminum bar, cut it into 3" sections, and drill and recess the holes for the wheels. This will allow for about a 60mm wheel base, twice the distance of the mini-V plate.

You will also need to take a different direction with the surgical tubing as there is no way to fit it down the center. I would suggest a 3mm bungee cord as it can easily be tucked into the groove between rails. The bungee will need to have at least a 200% elongation.
