Yes, all are operational and come up with the alarm window on each activation, i then have to turn off the alarm. But as soon as a try to home it, it goes past the limit switches?

Any chance you have the switches mixed up? Homing goes Z, X and then Y. If, for example, you have the X switch plugged into the Y port and the Y switch plugged into the X port, then homing will never find the X switch.

Embarrassingly so sir, Embarrassingly so. I have had them on and out that many times I have mixed them up. So when it performs the homing test, it is only test one switch at a time as well?

Probably also wiring, or if you wired it to the Coolant control, remember to turn it on from the Tool On menu

Just liked to say 'thank you' to everyone & that the machine performed the home sequence last night, that's all i had chance to do.

So a good clean up and hopefully will get to the ubiquitous 'hello world'

I am going to use Easel Pro as i find it quite intuitive to use -

My Main cutters to start will be 3.25mm round nose, upcut and downcut quarter inch and quarter inch 60 degree V Bit 4 flute

Cutting MR MDF any recommendations on speed and feed rate please?

As a newbie I have no idea if the pre-set speeds are good or not?

Also, just been trying to google the speed settings for the Dewalt 262

    What are the rotational speeds at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6?

    Thanks

So, did the hello world and thought, OK, time to try one of easel designs I have made. Then my problems started again. Easel does not seem to connect to my machine for some reason. I have installed both pieces of software on a Windows 10 Pro machine.

I tried exporting the project into openbuilds and got an error code, which I should have taken an image of, but it was getting late and needed to walk the dog!

Anyway, as usual, any tips or pointers would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks

In OpenBuilds Control, click on tool on, the click coolant on. Not sure if you can do this from easel.

Need to see the error message in order to help.

M9/M8 in gcode. Or the Tool On menu in CONTROL
