I am having problems with my SainSmart Coreception 3D printer which has Makerbase Robin Nano V1.2 controller. The stepper motor drivers are plugged into the controller. I found out that one of the drivers lost its heat sink. I think that caused the driver to go bad and cause the 3D printer to go "crazy". The drivers are TMC2208 V2.0. Are there any differences between versions of the drivers?
