    Hi guys.

I have a copy of DeskProto that I'm used to using on my old universities Roland MDX40 milling machines, and was wondering how you'd go about making the files that are compatible with GRBL panel?

Currently I'm sending the tool paths from desk proto to CAMotics using the 'send current tool paths to machine' option. But sending them to the CAMotics software instead. It seems like a sloppy way to have to do it, but I'm not sure how to go from a Solidworks STL file to the correct Gcode using CAMotics. It doesn't seem to be able to open the STL files.

I'm either doing something wrong with the file types, or I'm missing a step between the programs somewhere.

    Anyone make sense of this?

    Cheers

    Will
