HI ALL Im in Scotland, UK I want to build my own CNC, This C-Beam Machine XLarge Specs What i want to know is can i make this a custom size? for a workng space of around 500mm x 15000mm? Anyone know where i can get the custom made parts for this working size? Rails etc? I can do a stand and assemble etc X Axis Travel - 750mm (29.5") Y Axis Travel - 330mm (13") Z Axis Travel - 2" Actual working depth ~1"
15000? or 1500? no custom parts needed just cut the rails to the length you need. stock 1000x1500mm v-rail setups give about 820x1270mm cutting area. Just don't get the Kit and get the plate set you want with the V-rails. Or got to Ooznest and get the kit any size you want
Oh Right I read C-beam and think Ox LOL.. for that big Dual-belt Ox is really the only reasonable way, without going to 12mm screws or rack and pinion $$
Hi WANT TOO BUILD A 1500mm x 750mm- 1000mm Ox CNC steel with NEMA34 I seen this kit, but i already have the bits below http://makersupplies.dk/20-ox-cnc-kits I guess ive a lot of reading up to do, i have already ordered a NEMA34 Kit from China and HAVE already from the UK SEEN BELOW DUDES What Kit is it i need to finalise my build?
I got the package deal from China and as im a rookie with all of this i thought go heavy duty and if its too much reduce it too the lesser nema Hope they aint to heavy for the frame?
Weight isn't the issue, the nema34 size is much bigger and will not fit on the standard ox plates which are all made for nema23. nema23 makes plenty of torque for an ox, enough to do damage when it crashes. More torque isn't always better, you reach a point where other things are limiting performance, such as overall stiffness, and the drive system (such as belts or acme screws). these are what i'm using and i have not wanted for more power. nema23 269ozinch Which package deal did you get? the one in the pic? then you want nema23
