hi all can anyone tell me what lights need to be on (solid or blink)when the black box is functioning correctly please. im having some issues with my machine and im trying to narrow it down cheers lucas
Power LED = on and green when powered up RX/TX Flashes when the controller is communicating - the more data travelling between the controller and the software, the more blinks (ie more active during jobs) Other LEDs labels apply. Tool On - well, ON when the Toolhead is ON. Coolant? on when the coolant is turned on. Probe? On when the probe makes contact - mostly obvious for those. thanks peter. ive been having issues with emi and ive swapped to shielded cables and now my motors wont work but the 3d view on the controller shows everything to work. i used a multi meter and checked the continuity at either end of the extension cord. so im a bit stuck cheers lucas
For motors to spin you need: 1) Motors wired correctly docs:blackbox-4x:faq-identify-motor-coils [OpenBuilds Documentation] 2) PSU on (quick check: Blackbox Fan spinning? If not, check PSU/wiring/etc) 3) $4=1(Enabled) in Grbl Settings
