The belt and pinion concept, where the GT2 belt sits flush with the extrusion is shown using the Dual V wheel. Has anyone made it using Solid V wheels? I wonder if the hollow portion of the dual V wheel plays a role, such as keeping the belt aligned with the slot of the extrusion. Alternatively, the tension of the belt could also keep it straight, so I think solid could work. Has anyone tried?

    Thanks

    Yep. Solid wheels work best.

On the belt and pinion system I use the solid V wheel as well.

    Awesome. Thank you both.
I just put up a new post in the concepts and ideas section that I believe you both will enjoy reading.
