    Hi guys and gals,

Does anyone use MatLab for motion control?

    Bit of context:
I'm trying to build an open source microscope/stack and stitch macro camera system. It needs to be able to control XYZ motion as well as trigger a camera and several flash units. Most of the CNC software doesn't have the controls I need so I want to use MatLab (Mathworks) to build a GUI that has the controls for a microscope.

    The question:
MatLab can interface with an Arduino easily enough, but as electronics are not my strong point I would like to use an xPro V2 board so I don't have to worry about getting the right shield and pin combos.

Has anyone used MatLab with this board? If you did, what changes did you make to the standard MatLab sketch?

    Thanks,

    Lucas
