adding a plasma arc to a C-Beam

    you have to love what youtube throws your way sometimes. I was looking through my feeds and found this and since I am going to have a metal build plate, it makes me wonder if I could do something like that to cut paper with

    Yeah, saw it when it popped up on instructables a few days ago. The link gives a bit more detail on the project.

    I am curious about the resolution of the cut and if a smaller/sharper point would create a cleaner cut or less of a burn mark

    I would think moving along at a proper rate should take care of most of that.

    possibly...since I am still building my machine, I don't know what feed rates I will be able to do but so who knows but I know I will be doing it!

    I do wonder if the high frequency of these lighters will cause any interference with the controller. Not sure how susceptible they are to noise
