I searched for info on the use of the Acer Iconia tablet instead of a PC and found nothing. My question is. Has anyone used this tablet in place of a desktop or laptop? I would like to use it with the Ox build by kram242. The nice thing is the device is rather inexpensive with a decent size display, not a great res but that's not a biggie.. If anyone has used it. How did it work out for you? edited for typos.
It's still a valid question. Tablets have gotten dirt cheap lately and will continue to get cheaper as the holidays approach. Which Iconia model were you looking at? Was it android or Win 8.1?
Here are the specs, Fry's had them for $69.99. The res isn't the best but that shouldn't be that big of a deal. OK amount of ram, ok specs. The specs weren't really a factor in the decision, the price for a windows tablet was the real factor for me. Pity they are out of stock and probably will not have them at that price again.
